My wife and I had moved down to southern Mexico on an off for a two year period. Loving our place in Mexico so much we decided that it may be time to sell our home. We have been in the community since 1989. There was the dilemma, how do we sell our home, all the way down near the Guatemalan border? A close friend said there is someone we should meet and it was Iris. She was extremely patient and understanding our situation and discussed thoroughly the process. Her professionalism and knowledge was very noticeable on our first meeting. There was never any pressure and she went way above and beyond to make sure that we understood every step of the process. We were very fortunate that the first person that came through to view the house decided to buy it. Again Iris was on top of every step and actually had to go above and beyond because the representative for the buyer was slack in his responsibility. Overall it was an unbelievable experience and Iris made it so easy. It’s very rare nowadays that you can find an individual that is professional, knowledgeable and honest in this industry and not just out to get the commission for selling your home . That along with the fact that we were such a far distance during the process of selling the home – without reservation I highly recommend Iris Strickland to represent you in selling your home.

I couldn’t be happier with our experience having Iris as our realtor. We were relocated across the country and Iris knew that we were very anxious about getting our house sold under a very strict timeline. She went above and beyond to hold open houses and get our house out there to buyers. She kept an open line of communication with me the entire time and updated me at least weekly, if not more, on the progress of our listing all the way to the day of closing. She always made time to answer our calls and questions, and treated us as if we were her only clients, though I know that is not the case.

Iris is the best. She responds to calls/texts immediately, even at night. She is completely transparent and educated us on local tricks and tips. She knows the process in and out, and works very well with the lender and escrow companies. Open line of communication is an understatement!! Will recommend to all friends/family looking to buy in the area. Shoot, we’ll remain friends after this process is over! ;)

My fiancé and I used Iris to help with our first time home buying and so glad we did!
