The lake covers a total of 383 acres and contains 14.9 miles of shoreline, providing a plethora of space for all residents to enjoy the amenities. As a resident, you own the rights to use the private lake and enjoy the premiere conditions for water skiing, wake-boarding, fishing and floating. There are also beaches, parks, banquet facilities, tennis and basketball courts, lake front swimming pool with pool side service, equestrian stables, and baseball fields.
Canyon Lake is surrounded by the ever growing Menifee and Canyon Hills, which has an enlarging job base being created. Canyon Lake is also surrounded by Elementary, Middle, and High schools; as well as a community college Mt. San Jacinto just fifteen minutes away.
Canyon Lake is 1 in 5 gated cities in California, providing 24 guard gated security and our own police and fire departments. Only residents are granted access to the lake and all guest must be called in to Canyon lake. Due to the low crime rates within the gates, Canyon Lake has become a family driven community and has been known for its events, parades, and festivals making everyone feel like family.
